A seven‑foot, hairless behemoth with the mind of a child, Mammoth devours peanuts thrown by adoring crowds and repeats “Car wash” like a prayer. He is terrifying and pathetic in equal measure. When the Catwomen stomp on his dangling fingers, he whimpers “Mammoth no want to die”—and the audience feels a shiver of guilt.
