When exchange student Kazuo Nakamura was bitten by an extraterrestrial spider from a dying alien, he used these powers for thrill-seeking at first, wanting to chase the rush of danger, and became a costumed vigilante, but after facing a big enemy in a reckless way that nearly killed him, he realized the truth and became a menacing, controversial hero known as Spider-Man. When a bitter old scientist named Artemis Kirkland is fired by Roderick Kingsley and has his idea stolen, he becomes a flying criminal called Nocturnal and exacts revenge, and Kazuo, the alien Spider-Man of Seattle, has an archenemy to deal with.
