Cybertron has become a barren wasteland. The once-believed destroyed Matrix of Leadership, has fallen into the hands of Megatron who wishes to use its power to resurrect the Chaos Bringer, Unicron. Under the command of Ultra Magnus, a small brotherhood of Autobots find themselves on the hunt for their leader, the great Optimus Prime.
