Knuckles the Echidna (born on February, the 2nd 1990), also known by his human identity name Isaac Adebayo Reyes is the stoic and powerful guardian of Angel Island and the sworn protector of the Master Emerald. A solitary warrior bound by duty and tradition, Knuckles prefers isolation over companionship, dedicating his life to protecting what he considers sacred. Though often distant and unapproachable, Knuckles is a fiercely loyal ally and one of the strongest fighters in the Chargeshock Thompson & the Justice Avengers universe. When his territory or loved ones are threatened, he becomes an unstoppable force. Physical Appearance Knuckles is an anthropomorphic echidna with red fur, a peach-colored muzzle, a white and crescent-shaped patch of fur on his chest and long, dreadlock-like quills extending from his head. He possesses sharp purple eyes, a muscular, powerful build, spiked knuckles on his gloves and green and yellow shoes. His design emphasizes strength, durability, and raw power. In his human form, Malik Adebayo Reyes is an Afro-Latino man of half Jamaican, quarter Colombian and quarter Australian descent. He is tall and heavily muscular, dark-skinned with strong, defined features and possesses intense, focused eyes. His civilian attire is minimalist and practical, consisting of sleeveless tops or fitted shirts, cargo pants or combat trousers, boots or durable sneakers and often wears gloves or hand wraps. Personality Knuckles is calm, disciplined, and deeply principled, guided by an unwavering sense of duty. Stoic, honest, direct and self-reliant, Knuckles prefers solitude and avoids unnecessary interaction, choosing to focus on his responsibilities rather than social bonds. He is patient and decisive, prefering to ignore minor threats and  end fights quickly when necessary. He is stubborn and often refuses to rely on others. However, he is loyal and protects those he trusts without hesitation. Despite his hardened exterior, Knuckles feels deeply connected to his duty, struggles to express emotions and cares more than he shows. His isolation is both a choice and a burden. Powers and Abilities Superhuman Strength: Knuckles possesses immense physical power, capable of shattering rock and metal, overpowering enemies with brute force and matching powerful opponents like Sonic the Hedgehog in combat. Durability: He is extremely resistant to damage and can withstand powerful attacks and impacts. Enhanced Mobility: Knuckles can climb vertical surfaces effortlessly, digs through earth with ease and has exceptional agility despite his size. Combat Mastery: Knuckles is a highly skilled hand-to-hand combatant. Relies on powerful punches and grappling, uses precise, efficient movements and focuses on ending fights quickly. Connection to the Master Emerald: Knuckles shares a deep, almost spiritual connection with the Master Emerald, allowing him to sense disturbances, detect threats and maintain balance. His other skills consist of tactical awareness, survival skills, environmental adaptation and guardian instincts. Relationships Sonic the Hedgehog Knuckles’ rival and occasional ally. Their relationship is built on competition and mutual respect. Though they clash often, Knuckles trusts Sonic in critical moments. Miles "Tails" Prower Initially dismissive of Tails’ talkative nature, Knuckles grows to respect his intelligence and contributions. Amy Rose Amy is one of the few who can reach Knuckles emotionally. He respects her calm and understanding nature. Jake Thompson/Chargeshock Knuckles clashes with Jake’s leadership style, refusing to be commanded. However, he acknowledges Jake’s strength and determination. Sally Gómez/Ghoststrike Knuckles and Sally share a strong mutual respect. Both are disciplined, mission-focused and efficient.
