The Cryptwalkers follows an unlikely team of young monsters living in the gloomy town of Melancholia: Millir, a gentle Frankenstein's monster; Jesper, a charismatic Black vampire; Bela, an aspiring werewolf actress; Neffy, a stoic mummy ninja; and Zee, a timid but brilliant Gillman, who are recruited by young Mina Van Helsing to rescue her grandfather, Van Helsing, after he is captured by Dracula. Forced to put aside their rivalry with the legendary vampire lord, the monsters journey across the haunted land of Melancholia to stop Dracula's plan to shroud the world in eternal darkness. Along the way, the Cryptwalkers discover that true monsters are defined not by what they are, but by the choices they make.
