In the most mountainous regions of Mouse Island lies the small, spooky town of Shivery Valley, where 18-year-old Creepella Von Cacklefur lives with her family. Despite still being in college to become a journalist, Creepella already has a lucrative career as both a Scream Queen and horror hostess. But when her friend Geronimo Stilton comes to visit her and she becomes aware of a treasure belonging to her family hidden somewhere in the valley, a treasure hunt of spooktacular proportions ensues.
