First appeared in Fear #11 in 1972 and was created by Steve Gerber and Rich Buckler. Jennifer Kale was a witch who summoned the Nether-Spawn and had a psychic link with Man-Thing. She has also been allied with Howard the Duck, Spider-Man, and Doctor Strange and is also the cousin of Johnny Blaze and Daniel and Barbara Ketch.
