First appeared in Black Hammer #8 in 2017 and was created by Jeff Lemire and Dean Ormston. Sherlock Frankenstein was a 19th Century Englishman who achieved immortality through science. After relocating to Spiral City in America, he became a supervillain, but retired after decades and founded Frankenlock Worldwide.
