First appeared in Moon Knight #3 and was created by Doug Moench and Bill Sienkiewicz. Anton Mogart was a costumed thief who stole valuable items including art and jewels at midnight, becoming known as the "Midnight Man" and subsequently became an enemy of Moon Knight.
