Twelve-issue series with all issues written by Jason Aaron and penciled by Jesus Saiz. The series involves the Punisher joining the Hand who resurrected his wife Maria. He is pitted against Ares and his Apostles of War for most of the series. As the leader of the Hand and the Fist of the Beast, he gained powers, as well a new, Oni-shaped skull and regularly used swords. He was later confronted by Captain America, Wolverine, Moon Knight, Doctor Strange, and Black Widow and the resurrected Maria learned of his history of killing.
