Matthias Schoenaerts (/ˈʃoʊnɑːrts/ SHOH-narts, Dutch: [ˈmɑtjɑs ˈsxunaːrts]; born 8 December 1977) is a Belgian actor. He made his film debut at the age of 13 in Daens (1992), which was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film. He is best known for his roles as Filip in Loft (2008), Jacky Vanmarsenille in the Oscar-nominated Bullhead (2011), and Ali in the BAFTA and Golden Globe-nominated Rust and Bone (2012), for which he won the César Award for Most Promising Actor. He played Eric Deeds in The Drop (2014), Bruno von Falk in Suite Française (2015), Gabriel Oak in Far from the Madding Crowd (2015), Hans Axgil in The Danish Girl (2015), and Uncle Vanya in Red Sparrow (2018). Schoenaerts received critical acclaim for his portrayal of an ex-soldier suffering from PTSD in Disorder (2015) and for his performance as an inmate training a wild horse in The Mustang (2019). In 2015, he was named Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters in France. Piotr Nicolaevich Rasputin grew up on his family's farm in Russia. Piotr, his older brother Mikhail Rasputin, and younger sister Illyana Rasputin were all mutants. Piotr's ability to transform his body into organic steel allowed him to work around the farm and help out neighbors with ease.His brother on the other hand he used for the soviet union bu the government sent him on a suicide mission he was able to save his body by ripping away the sub atomic wall of space and years went by faster for him he comes back and starts killing all the locals trying to find the one that did thia to him so colossus must stop him. on a fateful day Professor Charles Xavier came to the Russian Rasputin family farm to recruit young Piotr to join his new team of mutants, the X-Men. Xavier was putting together a new teamAfter discussing the decision put to him with his family - Piotr accepted the Professor's offer to return to New York. Even after the eventual rescue of the original team members, Piotr would remain in Westchester County. At first Piotr found it hard to adapt to the American way of life, which differed from his rural Russian roots. Missing his family, Peter frequently wrote letters to home to bridge his emotional gap in such strange settings.
