At the dawn of creation, the gods of Olympus wage war against the ancient Titans. After their victory, Zeus claims the heavens, Poseidon rules the seas, and Hades is left to govern the Underworld, believing he has been betrayed by his brother. From his bitterness, Hades creates the Kraken, a monstrous weapon that helps secure the gods’ power — and waits for the day humanity turns against them. Generations later, mortals begin to question the gods who created them. When King Acrisius of Argos challenges Olympus, Zeus retaliates by fathering a child with Acrisius’ wife, Danaë. Their son Perseus is born a demigod, but after Acrisius discovers the betrayal, he casts the infant and his mother into the sea. Perseus survives and is raised by the kind fisherman Spyros and his family, learning the values of love, loyalty, and humanity. Eighteen years later, Perseus’ world is destroyed when the gods punish Argos for its rebellion. Left as the sole survivor, he discovers his divine heritage and learns that Hades has threatened to unleash the Kraken unless Princess Andromeda is sacrificed. Guided by the immortal Io and joined by a group of warriors, Perseus must journey across a world of ancient magic and forgotten monsters to find a way to save Argos. Facing the cursed warrior Calibos, the Stygian Witches, and the terrifying Gorgon Medusa, Perseus discovers that both gods and mortals are capable of cruelty and compassion. As Olympus and the Underworld clash for control of humanity’s fate, Perseus must decide whether to embrace his divine blood or reject the power of the gods who shaped his destiny. A sweeping mythological epic of betrayal, sacrifice, and defiance, Clash of the Titans follows a hero caught between two worlds as he fights not to become a god or a king, but to remain human.
