Frank Oz (born Richard Frank Oznowicz; May 25, 1944) is a British-born American film director, actor, voice actor, and puppeteer. He is known for creating and performing the characters Miss Piggy and Fozzie Bear in The Muppet Show and for directing films, including the Little Shop Of Horrors remake and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. He is also the operator and voice of Yoda in the Star Wars franchise.

In this retelling of the classic fairy tale, we follow the journey of Cinder, a kind-hearted and hardworking young man who lives with his cruel stepfather and stepbrothers. Despite their mistreatment, Cinder dreams of a better life and finds solace in creating beautiful clothes and designs. When a grand ball is announced at the palace, Cinder's stepfamily forbids him from attending. But with the help of his fairy godfather, who just happens to be a dashing young man named Fitz, Cinder attends the ball in a stunning outfit that he designed himself. There, he captivates the heart of the pretty princess, who is immediately drawn to his wit, kindness, and undeniable talent. As Cinder and the princess grow closer, they face challenges from the princess's parents, who disapprove of Cinder's humble background. Cinder also must navigate the jealousy and cruelty of his stepfamily, who do everything in their power to keep him from his happily ever after.
