In the distant future, humanity is at war with the Covenant, a ruthless alien alliance bent on their destruction. After a devastating battle, the human warship Pillar of Autumn crash-lands on a mysterious ringworld known as Halo. Among the survivors is Master Chief, a cybernetically enhanced super-soldier, and his AI companion Cortana. As Chief battles through the alien-infested ruins of Halo, he uncovers its true purpose—not just a world, but a weapon of unimaginable power. When the Covenant unwittingly unleash an ancient parasitic horror known as The Flood, the fight for survival escalates into a desperate race to prevent galactic annihilation. With Cortana’s guidance, Master Chief fights through both Covenant and Flood forces to stop the ring’s activation. In a climactic showdown, he destroys Pillar of Autumn's reactor core, triggering a massive explosion that shatters Halo—just as he and Cortana barely escape. As they drift through space, they realize the war is far from over. A new threat looms, and Master Chief will be ready.
