Fan Casting Jack Murdock in Chris Columbus' Daredevil: The Man Without Fear

Matt's father, a washed-up boxer wrestling in a Devil costume for money. A handsome, broken man with a heart of gold, Jack wants more for his son than the streets of Hell's Kitchen. He strikes a deal with Matt: stay in school, stay out of trouble, and he'll quit drinking. But when corrupt promoter Angelo "The Fixer" Policano orders him to throw a fight, Jack refuses and pays with his life.
