"Children of the Covenant" is a contemporary, action-adventure TV series inspired by the Riordanverse, but rooted in the mythologies, legends, and mystical traditions of the Abrahamic faiths—Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. The show follows a diverse ensemble of modern teens who discover they are descendants (or chosen inheritors) of legendary figures from these traditions. As supernatural threats from ancient times resurface in the modern world, the teens must navigate their own coming-of-age journeys, grapple with faith and identity, and unite across cultural lines to prevent a mythic apocalypse.
The series blends humor, heart, and high-stakes adventure, using allegory and metaphor to explore universal themes of justice, forgiveness, and belonging, while treating sacred figures and traditions with respect and sensitivity.
