Ty is the Aircraft Maintenance Officer of the "Black Lions" Navy fighter squadron (VF-213) who is temporarily assigned to Carrier Air Wing 8 as Operations Assistant Maintenance Officer (AMO). A native of Minwaking, Viscounts, he initially served in the Marines as an Aircraft Mechanic working on the A-6E Intruder and F/A-18D Hornet, stationed in Marine Air Base Iwatani, Yamato Kingdom, and ranked Sergeant. He later transferred to the Navy where he worked on the F-14 Tomcat and served as a boot camp RDC (Drill Instructor). He was commissioned through the Limited Duty Officer (LDO) program after serving as Chief Aviation Mechanic - Safety Equipment and Egress Systems Technician (AMEC).
