Olivia Isabel Rodrigo (born February 20, 2003) is an American singer-songwriter and actress. She began her career as a child, appearing in commercials and the direct-to-video film An American Girl: Grace Stirs Up Success (2015). She rose to prominence for her leading roles in the Disney Channel series Bizaardvark (2016–2019) and the Disney+ series High School Musical: The Musical: The Series (2019–2022). Shifting focus onto her recording career, Rodrigo signed with Geffen Records to release her 2021 single "Drivers License", which peaked at number one on the US Billboard Hot 100 for eight consecutive weeks and raised her to international prominence. That same year, she released her debut studio album, Sour, which spawned her second number-one song "Good 4 U" and the similarly successful singles "Deja Vu", "Traitor", and "Brutal". The documentary Olivia Rodrigo: Driving Home 2 U, which chronicles the creative process of Sour, was released the following year. Ellie is a what most would call a nerd. Well, at least that's what everyone she knows calls her. Her cousin Vanessa is the leader of Charming's Angels, a girl group, with her three friends Erica, Trish, and Kelly. These four aren't the brightest, nicest girls. Vanessa's bossy, Erica's a player, Trish cries all the time, and Kelly's just dumb. But when the girls see a singer group competition, they are determined to win it. The only problem is the competition is for groups with 5 and up only. Vanessa has to find a new member for Charming's Angels, and fast. When the hunt flops her mother suggests Ellie for the group. The girls are a little less than excited, but they decide to make the most of it. They are now determined to win the competition AND transform Ellie into one of their own. Will they succeed, or will everything crash and burn?
