Katie "Pidge" Holt (born on April, the 3rd 1996) is a former communications cadet at the Galaxy Garrison, Jake Thompson and Michael Green’s childhood best friend, Max Robinson's love interest and a recurring character in Chargeshock Thompson & the Justice Avengers. She is a highly intelligent and versatile mathematician, hacker, and inventor, as well as the Paladin of the Green Lion. Physical appearance Pidge is the slimmest and shortest of the Paladins. She has brown eyes and fair skin, owing to her Italian heritage. Her hair is light brown, short, and disheveled. She makes no obvious effort to style it, so her hair spikes outwards at the back and obscures her face as unruly bangs. Outside her Paladin armor, she dons thin, wire-framed, circle glasses. Although they appear to be half-moon, it is revealed they are actually round when light reflects off of them. These glasses are stated to have almost no effect and are simply important because she was gifted them by her brother. Pidge's paladin armor is the same as her teammates', but with green accents to match her Lion. Her casual wear is boyish and comfort-oriented. She wears a white long-sleeved shirt with green shoulders and pockets in the front. The shirt has a high, loose collar secured with a grey neck brace, and orange accents. She also wears grey shorts and orange, white-capped shoes. Personality Pidge is sharp-witted, sarcastic, and exceptionally intelligent, with a natural affinity for both human and alien technology. Despite her small stature, she possesses a strong personality and a fierce determination that allows her to stand her ground among far more physically imposing teammates. She values truth, logic, and empirical evidence, often relying heavily on data to guide her decisions. This reliance extends to her unwavering belief that her family is still alive, as well as her early conviction in the existence of extraterrestrial life. Though highly capable, Pidge can be stubborn, rebellious, and quick-tempered, often acting without concern for authority or consequences when pursuing her goals. History Early Life Katie Holt grew up alongside Jake Thompson and Michael Green, forming a close childhood friendship rooted in shared curiosity and ambition. Her early life was heavily influenced by her family, particularly her father and brother, whose involvement in advanced scientific research inspired her passion for technology. Following the disappearance of her family during the Kerberos mission, Pidge became determined to uncover the truth behind the incident. To investigate her family’s disappearance, she adopted the alias “Pidge Gunderson,” cut her hair, and enrolled in the Galaxy Garrison as a communications cadet. Her disguised identity allowed her to operate undetected while gathering information. During her time at the Garrison, she remained distant from others, focusing almost entirely on her objective. However she did make a new friend named Lance McClain. Abilities and Equipment Equipment Bayard: Takes the form of a grappling hook with a knife head for close-combat, ensnaring enemies, and traversing distances. Her Bayard can deliver a high-voltage shock on contact. Laptop: A computer from Earth that she uses for various tasks, including hacking and analyzing data. With the use of her laptop, Pidge is able to study and adapt Galra and Altean technology to her needs. Skill Set Genius-Level Intellect: Pidge is a prodigy in mathematics, engineering, and computer science, capable of solving complex problems rapidly and efficiently. Hacking and Cyber Warfare: She is an elite hacker, capable of infiltrating secure systems, decrypting advanced code, and manipulating digital infrastructure. Engineering and Invention: Pidge designs and builds advanced technology, including suit upgrades, surveillance systems and anti-Electro weaponry. Trivia Pidge’s glasses have little practical use but are one of her most valued possessions. She maintains extensive data files on both allies and enemies. The Holt family has a dog named Bae Bae. Pidge's favorite type of metal is palladium.
