Jackson Overland Frost, better known as Jack Frost, is the main protagonist of Rise of the Guardians. Jack is the Spirit of Winter, an immortal spirit like the Guardians. He enjoys creating mischief and has no interest in being bound by rules or obligations; he just wants to use his staff to spread his winter magic for the sake of fun.
As the manifestation of winter, Jack Frost is capable of manipulating ice and snow. He is the spirit of mischief and chaos personified, but when he discovers the purpose behind his powers, he becomes the Guardian of Fun.
