Monty (short for "Montgomery") is a companion who may arrive as a random door encounter when the player is at home. He arrives with Xaria and the two of them must join or leave the party together. He starts at level 2, and his class is listed as Punk. Monty starts equipped with Monty's Jacket and a Dagger. Every night, Monty will produce 10x Paintball (ammunition for Xaria's gun) and a Monty Special. When Xaria and Monty arrive, they will take over Sam's bedroom, put up candles and posters inside, and play loud music. Knocking multiple times will cause them to unlock the door and give Sam his pillow to sleep on the couch. Monty and Xaria go to art school together. Monty is also the drummer in a band with Xaria called Brutal Wizard. When Monty and Xaria first arrive, they have a chance to be fused with the Limb Thief, and are instead a hostile encounter.
