First appeared in The Olympians #1 in 1991 and was created by Stephen Jewell and Gary Chaloner. Virtuoso was an alien from the planet Krapton who was sent to Earth as a child before its destruction and landed in England, where he was adopted by Edwin Peace/Brainwave. He is a member of the British superhero team The Olympians and a parody of Superman.
