Prickle is the series' tritagonist and one of Gumby's friends who is a yellow dinosaur and/or dragon, possibly a Plateosaurus, with sharp white spines. He speaks with a Midwestern accent. Although a secondary or tertiary character in many shorts, some of the shorts have featured Prickle as the leading character. It's fun to be planning that he knows what's best about getting to help others and get more stuff as rewards.
