Jean-Claude Rey is the father of Cécile Rey; Cécile refers to him as "Papa". Jean-Claude is a stonemason who runs a successful stone yard; he works carving things out of marble such as statues, urns, grave markers, and fireplace mantles. He spends long hours at the stone yard and has high hopes for Armand to join him when he returns from France. Jean-Claude met his wife, Aurélia, via Grand-père and Aurélia's father.
