Queen Doreus is the sister of Nereus and an ancestor of the Nekton family from Lemuria. She was the last known queen and ruler of Lemuria before it sunk. She fought against a rogue branch of the Royal Family and entrusted scientists (later the Guardians) to keep the memory of Lemuria alive until a family member could find it.
