First appeared in League of Extraordinary Gentlemen #1 in 1999. Prince Dakkar/Captain Nemo is a member of the Murray Group. He is loosely based on the character from Jules Verne’s novels Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea and The Mysterious Island.
