After getting separated from Mighty, Ray got captured because Robotnik found out he had found a Chaos Ring. Once he acquired it, he set up Ray for roboticization. Good thing Mighty and the crew stopped that from happening. Ray also helps Mighty explain to Knuckles how they know Sonic. But Ray sort of blames himself for Eggman getting the Chaos Ring he had, but he felt better after gaining support from Mighty and the others.
