Mighty joins the group and they venture to Techno Tower, where they find Ray in a capsule, ready for roboticization! Metal Sonic spotted the group and attacked Vector and Espio! Mighty and Knuckles were going to help, but then Eggman's mech stops them! Knuckles holds Robotnik off as he tells mighty to save his brother Ray. Metal Sonic had slashed Vector on the arm, so Espio got payback by pinning Metal down with his ninja weapons! Then Mighty lands on Metal Sonic! Then the entire team group up against Robotnik's mech and win. Now Eggman believes Metal is now useless to him. As the tower blows, the entire group make camp somewhere and come to realize that Robotnik's after the Chaos Rings. Good thing Espio managed to snag a couple of them. But Eggman has the rest!
