When Vector mentioned Vanilla at one point, we get a small scene with Amy, her adoptive mother Vanilla, and her adoptive sister Cream. The green-and-orange getup was getting old, so they took her to see Honey the Cat who gave her a wonderful red dress with matching boots. Amy lives with Vanilla after the events with Metal Sonic on Little Planet, and the apparent loss of her parents. But she still remembers the hero who gave her this new family: Sonic the Hedgehog.
