The Champions follows a group of young heroes, Ms. Marvel, Spider-Man, Nova, Viv Vision, and their allies, who break away from the adult superhero establishment after growing disillusioned with its compromises. Determined to fight for real change, they form their own team dedicated to grassroots heroism, community outreach, and standing up for the disenfranchised. Balancing school, identity, and the weight of legacy, they clash with both supervillains and the very institutions meant to guide them. Their idealism is tested as they navigate public backlash, internal disagreements, and the pressure to grow up fast. Ultimately, the series is a coming-of-age story about hope, activism, and what it means to be a hero on your own terms.
