Denji is a young devil hunter who becomes 'Chainsaw Man' with the heart of devil and belongs to the Public Safety Devil Hunters' Special Division 4.
While excited on a date with his admired Makima, he is caught in a sudden downpour, and while sheltering from the rain, he happens to meet a girl named 'Reze.' She says she works at a nearby café, and she smiles gently at Denji, and the two quickly grow close.
From this encounter, Denji's daily life begins to change......
