Minami Hishida is a beginning child actress, model and a EXPG Osaka graduate. Born in Hyogo in 2006, she began her career as one of the main characters in Takashi Miike's Secret x Warrior Phantomirage. She gained this role in 2018, whilst participating in LDH's "The Girl Audition" within the acting category. Miike ensured that any successful candidates would receive a role in one of his works. She later won the acting category.
Minami's full Japanese name means 'The Yet Beach Beauty of the Diamond Shaped Rice Field".
