The leader of the Kremlings, a crocodilian race. King K. Rool is a deranged and unhinged villain whose plans range from stealing Donkey Kong's bananas, to blowing up Donkey's island home. Because of his unstable mentality, K. Rool has gone through various other identities, like the pirate themed "Kaptain K. Rool", the mad scientist themed, "Baron K. Roolentstien" and the boxer themed "King Krusha K. Rool". K. Rool fights using his large stomach, his crown which acts like a boomerang and a generally animalistic fight style using his claws and biting.
