Omar Rafael Chaparro Alvídrez (Chihuahua, Chihuahua, Mexico; November 26, 1974), better known by his stage name Omar Chaparro, is a Mexican comedian, actor, comedian, singer, composer, producer, lecturer and radio and television host. He is known for creating and performing his humorous characters in his radio and television programs where he is also a host, for acting in several Mexican and Mexican-American films and for his double starring role in Netflix's musical comedy film, in tribute to Pedro Infante, Como caído del cielo (Like Fallen from the Sky). In addition to being mostly recognized in the Latin dubbing world as the Spanish voice of the panda "Po" in the movie Kung Fu Panda and its continuations. He also established himself as a singer and has recorded two albums, among them, is his outstanding album entitled Me enamoré de ti, which included his three hits "Sigues tan hermosa", "Me enamoré de ti" and "Aferrado".

Jake Carver is the new English teacher in the local school in a small Mexican town. He is having a hard time being able to connect with the students but at least he gets along with most of the teachers. However unbeknownst to everyone in town, Jake has a dark past that he had been running from. He use to be a black ops operative that was relocated to Mexico after he retired. While he is there the mayor of the town has made some shady dealings with known Narco Boss and he has put up the whole town as collateral. The Narco Boss shows up to collect and sieges the town. The Governor gets wind of this but is unable to do anything because the town has been cut off and is being held hostage. As soon as Jake sees what happens and they take the school, he goes straight to his bunker and gets his old gear and decides to take the town back and save his students and their families.
