The film tells how an ex-American soldier, with the help of a young son of Austrian nobles, tries to recover the treasure of a famous general who died a few years earlier and owned by Colonel Madison. The treasure, however, is found on a caravan that belongs to a group of bad guys, who at the same time kidnapped the colonel, and is headed for Kansas, as the two have to take him to Mexico.
