Photon would be in on the plan and learns that Captain Marvel and Nova are being taken to Hala, the Kree capital. As she, Talos, and a recovered Jimmy head to Hala to try to sneak in and save their friends, while Rhoman contacts the rest of the Nova Corps to try to convince them to make one final stand at Hala Back on Hala, Captain Marvel and Nova are brought before Ronan and the Supreme Intelligence (in its true form) with devices around their necks that were made to take away Carol’s powers (however, they don’t seem to have the same effect on Nova). The Supreme Intelligence broadcasts the execution across Kree, Skrull, and Nova space, and monologues about how Captain Marvel’s “reign of terror” is at an end and how Kree Supremacy will rule the galaxy. Captain Marvel stands up to the S.I. and that her death will rally the galaxy against their evil and that one day Skrull, Xandarians, and even Kree would be free from its oppression.
