In the 90s, SHIELD recovered Captain America's body from the ice. Upon discovering he was alive, they kept him in cryogenics until they had the technology to thaw him alive. In the present day, that day has arrived, and with the help of geniuses like Iron Man and Hank Pym, they thaw the most important soldier in history. Upon opening his eyes, Steve finds himself in a hospital ward, similar to those in the 40s, but he soon notices something is wrong. He knocks the nurse down and runs off, then takes down two armed men, until he reaches the street, seeing the futuristic New York, completely surprised, that's when Iron Man and Nick Fury appear. He asks where he is, Stark replies that he is in New York in the year 2011, which shocks Steve, then Fury says that he has been asleep for decades. They ask how he is
