Patrick Joseph Wilson (born July 3, 1973) is an American actor, director, and singer. He began his career in 1995, starring in Broadway musicals. He is a two-time Tony Award nominee for his roles in The Full Monty (2000–2001) and Oklahoma! (2002). He co-starred in the acclaimed HBO miniseries Angels in America (2003), for which he was nominated for both the Golden Globe Award and Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Miniseries or a Movie. Wilson has also appeared in films such as The Phantom of the Opera (2004), Hard Candy (2005), Little Children (2006), Watchmen (2009), Insidious (2010), The A-Team (2010), Insidious: Chapter 2 (2013), and as demonologist Ed Warren in the Conjuring Universe (2013–present). He has earned a reputation as a "scream king" due to his frequent casting in horror films. On television, Wilson starred in the CBS drama series A Gifted Man (2011–2012) and as Lou Solverson in the second season of FX's anthology series Fargo (2015), for which he received a second Golden Globe Award nomination. In the DC Extended Universe, he portrayed Orm Marius / Ocean Master in the superhero film Aquaman (2018) and voiced the U.S. President in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016). The movie opens with Steve Rogers and Sam Wilson fighting the Winter Soldier after finally killing Baron Strucker. Sam tries to fight him but is knocked to the ground, Steve tries to talk to him and get him to remember his old life but it doesn't work. They escape as fast as they can and don't manage to get any info on who is still running Hydra but now they know where they are. Throughout the movie Steve and Sam try and take down the remaining Hydra bases while the Winter Soldier tries to track them. Eventually Steve gets Tony Stark and Janet Van Dyne to come see him and Sam for dinner. Janet tells them that she still hasnt found a way to get Scott back. Sam asks about Hank but the room goes silent. Janet tells him that they aren't worried about him right now. Steve turns on the tv and sees the first ever mission the Avengers went on playing on an old news recording. Janet gets up and leaves while Tony tells Steve that a war is coming. The next day Steve gets to the airport and plans to go see someone out of the county. He looks out the window at the plane and walks over to board it. The movie ends with Sam Wilson and Tony Stark meeting Simon Williams who was forced to shut down the East Coast Avengers after Nick Fury quit working for S.H.I.E.L.D. The three of them talk as Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver, Quake, and Ms Marvel as they walk into an underground secret Avengers base.
