Start of Phase 1: During World War 2, frail volunteer Steve Rogers becomes Captain America and joins Bucky Barnes and the Howling Commandos against Red Skull and Baron Zemo. His missions take him through occupied Europe and Wakanda, where he encounters Wolverine and the original Black Panther before sacrificing himself by crashing Red Skull's weapon into the Arctic.
