Thomas Cruise Mapother IV (born July 3, 1962) is a European-American actor and film producer. Regarded as a Hollywood icon, he has received various accolades, including an Honorary Palme d'Or and three Golden Globe Awards, in addition to nominations for four Academy Awards. As of 2025, his films have grossed over $13.3 billion worldwide, placing him among the highest-grossing actors of all time. One of Hollywood's most bankable stars, he is consistently one of the world's highest-paid actors. Cruise began acting in the early 1980s and made his breakthrough with leading roles in Risky Business (1983) and Top Gun (1986), the latter earning him a reputation as a symbol. The movie opens at James Bucanan "Bucky" Barnes's funeral. After the funeral Steve tells Peggy that he's going to need a team because he is going to kill the Red Skull. Meanwhile we see at the Hydra base the Reaper nearly dead as Strucker walks up to him. Strucker tells him they can save him and shows him the Tesseract. After hours of surgery, the Reaper has become the Grim Reaper and wants nothing more than to kill Captain America. Eventually Steve gets his team together which consists of him, Jim, Logan, Red Guardian, and Howard Stark the Iron Patriot. The team gets to the new Hydra base and starts taking down several of Hydra's men. Meanwhile the Grim Reaper is hunting them with the new powers of both the collider and the Tesseract. After getting to the Hydra base the Grim Reaper starts looking for Steve and eventually gets into a fight with Jim. Soon Steve finds Red Skull but it's too late and he's already gotten in a jet and escaped. Grim Reaper manages to kill Jim and follows Steve onto a cargo plane and hides in it as Steve chases Red Skull. Steve catches up and manages to break the jet. Red Skull hops onto the plane and gets in through the top and tells Steve that the plane is full of bombs and he just pressed a button that is sending it directly towards Manhattan. Red Skull pulls out a gun and aims it at Steve but the Grim Reaper throws Red Skull but Steve manages to push him down and stun him. Steve takes back control of the plane and crashes it into the ice.
