Following the catastrophic events in New York with the Avengers, Steve Rogers, also known as Captain America, is still trying to adjust to the modern world. However, when a colleague from S.H.I.E.L.D. is attacked, Steve finds himself caught in a web of intrigue that threatens to put the world at risk. Partnering with Black Widow and Falcon, his new ally, Captain America must confront a mysterious and unexpected enemy, the Winter Soldier.
