Glen Thomas Powell Jr. (born October 21, 1988) is an American actor. He began his career with minor roles on television and in films such as Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over (2003) and Fast Food Nation (2006). Powell acted in the action film The Expendables 3 (2014), the comedy-horror series Scream Queens (2015–2016), the teen comedy Everybody Wants Some!! (2016), the historical romance The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society (2018), and the romantic comedy Set It Up (2018). He also portrayed astronaut John Glenn in Hidden Figures (2016) and aviator Tom Hudner in Devotion (2022). Powell became famous for starring in the action film Top Gun: Maverick (2022) and the romantic comedy Anyone but You (2023). He has since starred in the dark comedy Hit Man(2023), which he also co-wrote and produced, and in the disaster film Twisters (2024). In 1941, Steve Rogers gets recruited to be the test subject on the Super Soldier Project. Thanks to this he gains superhuman abilities and decides to use the name Captain America to help out end the war. On the Nazi side, Heinrich Zemo is a brilliant scientist that gets word of the project and its success so he gets obsessed with Captain America. Steve is new to being a soldier, but thanks to the general Jack Fury, the captain Peggy Carter, Dum Dum Dogan, scientist and inventor Howard Stark and his best friend Bucky Barnes, Steve gets the hang of it pretty easily. During a mission Bucky gets captured and Steve gets enraged so lets go of his anger and accidentally pours some adhesive chemicals on Zemo, which causes his face to blend with his mask, for this he creates a bigger hatred towards Steve.
