David Lee Roth, also known as "Diamond Dave", is an American rock singer and former frontman of the hard rock band Van Halen. Known for his energetic stage presence, Roth was Van Halen's lead singer from 1974–1985, 1996, and 2007–2020. He rejoined the band for their 2007 reunion tour and recorded A Different Kind of Truth, their first album with Roth in 24 years. Roth has also worked as an EMT, hosted radio shows and podcasts, and shared his art on social media.
