In a kingdom on the edge of war, a young man destined for greatness lives a simple life. Arthur, kind but naïve, is raised in secret by the loyal knight Sir Ector alongside his fearless foster-sister Kay. When rumors resurface of an ancient sword of legend—Excalibur, said to hold the power to save or doom kingdoms—Arthur, Kay, and their closest friend, the noble Lady Morgana, set out on a perilous journey to find it.
Their path collides with the unpredictable mage Merlin, his talking Codex of spells, and a chaotic beast he calls his companion. Together, the unlikely group faces enchanted forests, deadly knights, and the schemes of the vengeful King Lot, who plots to shatter Camelot and seize power through forbidden magic.
But the greatest threat may not come from without. As Arthur grows into the leader he was born to be, and Merlin uncovers powers beyond mortal comprehension, Morgana is tempted by darker forces—her innocence giving way to ambition, betrayal, and a destiny that could unravel them all.
In the season finale, as Camelot burns under siege, Excalibur is claimed, friendships are tested, and one of their own makes a choice that will change the fate of the realm forever.
