Jonathan "Jon" Lovitz is an American comedian, actor, and singer. He is best known as a cast member of the NBC sketch comedy show Saturday Night Live from 1985 to 1990.
Based on the comic strip by Bill Watterson, the movie takes place when a boy with an overactive imagination receives a birthday gift and learns that having a friend is just what he needed.
