Mark Boal (born January 23, 1973) is an American journalist, screenwriter and film producer. Before he became a prominent figure of cinema, Boal worked as a journalist for such publications as Rolling Stone, The Village Voice, Salon and Playboy.
Three years had passed with Cordis Die's collapse. When the world's government struggled to pick up the pieces from the aftermath of Raul Menendez's attacks, Johnathon Irons and the Atlas Corporation were there to pick up the pieces and give people hope. Staff Sergeant Jack Mitchell, recently discharged from the military after losing his arm, is recruited into the private military corporation. (Takes place after Black Ops II)
