The story stars a young, pretty, popular, Christian girl named Megan, whose family, friends, and boyfriend begin to suspect that she is a lesbian. They react to this by making the decision to send her to conversion camp, despite Megan’s own protests. This film follows her and some new friends on their journey through a satirized version of conversion camp.
I’ve made the decision to attempt to keep my cast to younger actors (hopefully teenagers) in order to show that it’s real kids who are put through these experiences, however, this means the actors I choose may not be part of the LGBTQ+ community. Please keep this in mind if looking through the cast, and please let me know of any thoughts you have :)
