A runaway kid is frozen when the experimental zeppelin he has taken control of crashes at the North Pole in 1939; while in 1984, a US Air Force captain is launched aboard a one-man exploration starship Olympus IX and is frozen as well by a freak mishap running into a frozen meteorite storm.
