Boys Don't Cry follows the story of Marvin Morgan a troubled young African American boy who is released from juvenile detention and finds himself in the care of Mary Newton, a compassionate woman. After Marvin's biological mother Patricia struggles with drug abuse, mary decides to adopt him and introduces him to her family including her Louis.
