His real name is Enzo Facchetti, but he adopted the pseudonym Stanis La Rochelle to disavow any reference to Italy: the man is in fact convinced that overly Italian acting is the main reason for the poor quality of television dramas and cinema in Italy . His stage name is a reference to the Stanislavskij method: the actor, in fact, must immerse himself in the role before filming and, often, this happens a few seconds before the take. Often, to cover up difficult situations, he reminds others that he attended Marcel Marceau's school for mimes and this gives rise to absurd and unlikely skits.
